LORAIN, Ohio - A Lorain man was arrested twice in 1 1/2 hours by the same officer on drunken-driving charges, police said.
According to police, Thomas Nicoloff, 39, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. Tuesday for running a red light and, after police gave him a ride home, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday for speeding. He was given field sobriety tests and was charged with drunken driving both times.
Nicoloff does not have a phone listing for the address given to police.
Lorain Municipal Court Judge Mark Mihok said he has never seen a case in which a person was arrested twice on drunken-driving charges in one night. He declined comment on a possible sentence.
Nicoloff faces a pre-trial hearing April 25.
