FL. Deputy Killed; Massive Manhunt Underway

LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) - A massive manhunt continues in central Florida following a deadly traffic stop that left a deputy dead and a second wounded. A police dog was also shot.

The Polk County sheriff says law enforcers have fanned out to search for the gunman. The sheriff says the second deputy was shot in the leg and will survive.

Authorities say the two deputies and the dog were wounded after a man with no driver's license was pulled over, took off into some nearby woods, and opened fire.

Schools have been locked down in the area, while the sheriff pledged that "we will find him."
