Man Arrested For Carrying Weapons At Airport

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (AP) - A man has been charged with carrying concealed weapons after deputies found 20 weapons in his van at Akron-Canton Regional Airport.

Summit County sheriff's deputies spotted a weapon in 36-year-old Louis Anderson's van in the airport's short-term parking lot.

Deputies found two loaded guns and an unloaded M-16 on the man's back seat, as well as pistols, rifles and ammunition in the back of the van.

Anderson said that he had the weapons in his van because he was moving from Gray, Tenn., to Cleveland. He said that he did not have a chance to take them out before going to the airport to pick up a friend.
