Tigers Up 2-0 in Series Against A's

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - After winning their first two games of the American League Championship Series in Oakland, the Tigers have history on their side as the scene shifts to their home field. No team has lost a best-of-seven L-C-S after capturing the first two on the road.

The Tigers are stalking their first World Series berth since the Sparky Anderson-led team won the title in 1984.
