Cavs Player Opens Reading and Learning Center

Cleveland, OH - Eric Snow is a champion on and off the court.

The Cavs Guard opened the new Eric Snow Reading and Learning Center at the Edward L. "Peel" Coleman Community Center in Canton.

The Eric Snow Reading and Learning Center is the fifth Cavaliers center in Northeast Ohio to be built in the past four years and the second over the last month.  The center features a new ceiling grid, light work and carpeting.  It's freshly painted in Cavaliers wine, gold and navy and is draped with photo collages of Snow.  New furnishings include tables and chairs, bookshelves and two new televisions.  Educational resources include 500 new books and six new computers.

The development of the Cavaliers Reading and Learning Centers allows qualified non-profit organizations with the opportunity to improve the condition of its current facility as well as to improve the quality of its literacy and educational programming.  The Edward L. "Peel" Coleman Community Center hosts after school programs for elementary, middle and high school students, serving 500 to 1,000 kids each week.
