NLCS: Game 5 Postponed Due to Rain

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Tonight's game five between the Cardinals and Mets in the National League Championship Series has been postponed after a daylong rain in St. Louis. The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow night.

It's the second time a game has been postponed in this NLCS. The opener in New York was also rained out. It will also be the second time the teams will travel without a day off. Game six is scheduled for New York on Wednesday night.

The Mets and Cardinals have two wins apiece in the series.

Jeff Weaver of the Cardinals and Tom Glavine of the Mets had been scheduled to start game five on three days' rest.
