Triple A: Teen Drivers at Risk Driving Home from School

Parents with teenage drivers may be worried sick when their kids climb behind the wheel on a Friday or Saturday night.

However, a new Triple-A study reveals teen drivers are just as at risk coming home from school as they are during the weekend.

The study found that there are almost as many teen driving accidents during 3-5PM on weekdays - as on weeknights.

Bottom line - those cars are packed with friends, talking and a lot of distractions - regardless of the time or day.

Triple-A recommends limiting how many passengers your teen can have in the car - until they've been on the road at least one year.
