OU Student's Death Blamed On Alcohol

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio University student was found dead after a night of drinking in Columbus with friends to celebrate his 21st birthday.

Paramedics said that Nathan Roberts appears to have suffocated after vomit was inhaled into his lungs. His body was found on Monday.

Columbus Police Sgt. Earl Smith said that Roberts' death was almost certainly alcohol-related. An autopsy is planned for Tuesday.

Smith said that Roberts, of Findlay, was found dead inside a friend's house near the Ohio State University campus.

Ohio University spokeswoman Leesa Brown said that Roberts was a junior majoring in telecommunications.
