Local Man Sentenced For Stealing OxyContin

CLEVELAND - A Lyndhurst man has been sentenced for theft of the drug OxyContin, a powerful painkiller that has become the hottest prescription item for those who use and sell drugs, 19/43 News reported.

Adam Baker, 20, will spend four years in jail for trying to steal the drug.

Last month, Baker confessed to the theft at a Walgreens on Mayfield Road after surveillance video caught him in the act.

Baker was carrying a gun when he demanded the pills.
