Kent: Students vs Administration over Slain Students Tribute

Kent, OH - A number of KSU students battling with the administration over a tribute to those who died on May 4th, 1970.

The students say the University needs a visitors center for tourists who come to learn about the National Guard shootings.

Four students were killed and nine injured during the infamous anti-war protest.

The students want all the memorabilia put in Taylor Hall - in a room overlooking the place where the tragedy took place.

The University says no - that building is already full.
