High School Search Turns Up Drugs, Weapons

LORAIN, Ohio - A surprise search at an area high school on Tuesday turned up illegal drugs and weapons, 19/43 News reported.

Police and school authorities went through student lockers at Lorain Admiral King High School, and they reportedly uncovered bags containing approximately 30 grams of marijuana and a few pocketknives.

School officials wouldn't say how many of the 1,500 students in the school were involved, but they did say that no charges or disciplinary action has yet been taken.

Admiral King has a zero-tolerance policy, and made the search after being tipped off about drug activity.
