Trial Date Set for Accused Husband Killer

Akron, OH - A judge has set a new trial date of June 4th for the Pennsylvania woman accused of plotting the murder of her millionaire husband along the Ohio Turnpike.

Doona Moonda was indicted in August in the death of Doctor Gulam Moonda. He was shot by a gunman May 13th, 2005, when the couple pulled off the Turnpike in suburban Cleveland.

Moonda could face the death penalty if convicted of murder for hire and other charges.

The judge ruled Friday that the first two weeks of the trial will be devoted to jury selection. Moonda's trial originally had been scheduled for October 23rd.
