COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Delta Air Lines is adding two flights to help Buckeyes fans get to and from the national championship game in Arizona.
The carrier created two nonstop flights from Port Columbus International Airport, leaving January Sixth and returning from Phoenix on January Ninth, the day after the game. Delta doesn't normally run a nonstop between the two cities, but vice president of network planning Bob Cortelyou.
Coach fares for the flight are running about one-thousand dollars per seat. Delta isn't the only airline adding nonstop flights on those dates. Southwest also scheduled more flights, but many of those seats are already sold out
