CLEVELAND - A woman and her 2-month-old granddaughter were hospitalized on Monday morning after a bus accident in Downtown Cleveland, 19/43 News reported.
Witnesses said that the woman had the child in her arms as she was trying to cross the street at the busy intersection of East 13th Street and Superior Avenue.
When the woman attempted to cross, she was clipped by an RTA bus, which sent the baby flying out of her arms and onto the street a short distance away.
Both the woman and her granddaughter were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where they were treated and released.
The bus driver told police that she did not see the woman trying to cross.
