Man Pleads Guilty for Role in Deadly Apartment Fire

Cleveland, OH - New information about a man involved in a deadly apartment fire on the city's eastside.

Collins Bennet has pleaded guilty to four counts of involuntary manslaughter - one for each innocent child killed in the fire.

Bennet entered the plea as part of a deal he struck with prosecutors.

He'll serve 16-years behind bars and testify against Lorenzo Collins.

That's the man accused of actually starting the deadly blaze.

Prosecutors say Collins was trying to hurt his ex, even though she wasn't inside the building at the time of the fire.
