Columbus, OH - An NCAA official has contacted OSU after two football players attended a fund-raising dinner over the weekend.

19 Action News has learned the dinner was held to help raise money for the families of Antonio Pittman and Chris Wells so they could attend the National Championship game in Arizona.

Now, the NCAA will determine if any violations were committed.

The term "extra benefit" is what the NCAA uses when deciding if a student-athlete received anything that was not available to a regular student.
