Cleveland, OH - Northeast Ohio airport officials say there were fewer flights last year -- but more passengers.
About 229-thousand flights arrived or departed Cleveland Hopkins International Airport last January through November. That's about 21-thousand fewer flights than the same period in 2005. But the number of passengers grew by 200-thousand to ten-point-six (m) million.
Flights were down by four percent at Akron-Canton Airport while passenger counts increased slightly.
The numbers mean more crowded flights.
