Officials: No Bomb on Toledo Plane

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - A spokeswoman for American Eagle says there was no bomb onboard a plane that was detained today at Toledo Express Airport.

Earlier this morning, someone made a 911 call reporting a bomb onboard American Eagle Flight 4359. But American Eagle spokeswoman Andrea Huguely says authorities have determined that there was no bomb.

No arrests or injuries have been reported.

The plane had left the gate and was preparing for 10 a-m departure for Chicago when the threat came in. About 30 passengers and three crew members were onboard.

The airline says all passengers were interviewed by law enforcement authorities. Twenty-nine passengers are back onboard and preparing now to leave for Chicago.

Huguely says one passenger decided not to continue on to Chicago but she did not have further details.
