TIFFIN, Ohio (AP) - A former Heidelberg College student has been sentenced to four years in prison for videotaping a friend sexually assaulting an unconscious woman, and then showing the video to others.
Nelson Pixler, 20, of Defiance, pleaded guilty in September to charges of sexual battery and complicity to rape.
A woman who was a student at another school told authorities that she had been drinking at a party and went to sleep in a friend's dorm room.
Prosecutors said that 21-year-old Nicholas Klingler, of Circleville, assaulted the woman while Pixler taped it.
Klingler pleaded guilty to sexual battery charges and was sentenced to four years in prison. Both he and Pixler were labeled sexually oriented offenders and must register with authorities when they leave prison.
Heidelberg has expelled both of them.
