FLOWERY BRANCH, Georgia (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons hired Cleveland Browns assistant Jerry Rosburg as special teams coordinator on Monday.

New head coach Bobby Petrino also hired David Puloka and Billy "White Shoes" Johnson as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.

The 51-year-old Rosburg, 51, coached Cleveland's special teams unit the last six years. The Browns ranked among the top 15 in punt return average, kickoff return average and net punting average. In 2005, the Browns led the N-F-L in special teams scoring.
