Senior Bowl: Smith Fixes the Leak

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Ohio State's Troy Smith outplayed Florida's Chris Leak in a rematch of quarterbacks from the national championship game, leading the North to three scores and a 27-to-0 win over the South in the Senior Bowl.

Smith's numbers weren't spectacular on a cold, rainy day. He completed only five of 15 passes for 52 yards with a seven-yard touchdown pass to Washington State's Jason Hill.

But the Heisman Trophy winner made fewer mistakes than Leak, who had a fumble that led to a quick touchdown for the North.

Leak and Smith are two of college football's most high-profile passers. However, they aren't the most coveted by the N-F-L.
