Valentine's Day Weather Massacre

AP AP

Cleveland, OH - A winter storm warning remains in effect for all Northeast Ohio until 4PM.

Blowing snow advisory remains in effect until 9PM this evening.

North winds of 15 to 25 mph will continue this afternoon causing blowing and drifting snow with near zero visibilities at times. East west roads will most likely experience the most drifting.

Local officials have requested that all unnecessary travel be avoided in order to give road plows the chance to clear the streets and highways.

If you must go out, allow plenty of time and drive slowly. Be alert for reduced visibility in blowing and drifting snow. Dress warmly - temperatures will be in the teens and wind chills will be near zero.

The wind will diminish early tonight.

If you must travel, make sure to use our real-time traffic tool before making your evening commute.
