Findlay: Winds Topple Radio Station Tower

FINDLAY, Ohio (AP) - Gusting winds toppled a Findlay radio station's transmission tower this afternoon, knocking the station off the air.

WFIN Program Director John Marshall says the 280-foot tall tower came down just before four o'clock Tuesday afternoon.

Winds have been making driving difficult in northwest Ohio.

Authorities in Hancock and Sandusky counties have ordered motorists to stay off the roads except for emergencies.
