INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis Colts running back Dominic Rhodes was pulled over by Indiana State Troopers early this morning and is facing a drunken driving charge.
Authorities say the 28-year-old football player was driving his truck 81 miles per hour in a 55-miles-per-hour zone on Interstate 65 in Indianapolis.
Police say Rhodes was cooperative with the state troopers who arrested him. Rhodes is being held at the Marion County arrestee processing center.
Colts spokesman Craig Kelley says the team has no immediate comment on the arrest.
Rhodes, who became a free agent after the season, rushed for more than 100 yards in the Colts' Super Bowl win over Chicago.
