I-90 Fatal Crash Kills Chardon Woman

Concord Twp, OH - The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate a motor vehicle crash which resulted in one fatality.  This crash occurred on Friday, March 2nd, at 10:42 p.m.  The crash occurred on I-90 in just west of SR 44 and involved one vehicle.

Unit #1 was a 2004 Chevy Trail Blazer driven by Paul E. Delmanzo, age 41 of Cleveland.  Mr. Delmanzo was traveling eastbound on I-90 recklessly on the left berm before traveling off the left side of the roadway.  Mr. Delmanzo's vehicle then struck an embankment and rolled over several times causing Mr. Delmanzo and his passenger Denise L. Hill to be ejected from the vehicle.

The passenger,  Denise L. Hill, age 38 of Chardon, was transported to Lake East Hospital by Concord Twp EMS and was pronounced dead on arrival.  Mr. Delmanzo was also transported to Lake East and from there he was life-flighted to Metro in Cleveland where he remains in critical condition at this time.

Mr. Delmanzo and Ms. Hill were not wearing their safety belts.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.

    Tyrod Taylor is the present, and Baker Mayfield is the future, but what would happen if, say, Taylor suffered an injury in Week 2? Would Hue Jackson automatically turn it over to Mayfield?
