Microsoft Debuts Bigger X-Box Memory Unit

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Microsoft is rolling out a 512-megabyte memory unit for its Xbox 360 game console.

The unit, which is expected to be available next month for 49 dollars, 99 cents, will come pre-loaded with Xbox Live Arcade game "Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved." The expanded size of the memory unit will let gamers download content from Xbox 360 kiosks, or transport their gamer profile or game data on the unit.

The software giant also says it'll cut the price on its smaller 64 M-B memory unit by ten dollars -- to 29 dollars, 99 cents.
