CLEVELAND - A Cleveland judge withdrew an arrest warrant for a key member of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday because his attorney came in to set up a court date, 19/43 News reported.
On Wednesday, 19/43 News broke the story regarding the legal troubles of star NFL player Plaxico Burress.
Burress was cited by the Cleveland Police Department on Christmas Eve for having an open bottle of beer on the streets of the city's Warehouse District.
Earlier in the week, the wide receiver missed a court date, so a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
On Friday, Burress' attorney made an appearance in a Cleveland courtroom that led to the warrant being withdrawn.
Burress is now scheduled to be in court on Monday.
