Former Browns Draft Pick Going To Jail

SEATTLE - Former Cleveland Browns draft pick Jeremiah Pharms (pictured, right) was sentenced to jail time on Monday in connection with a drug-related robbery and shooting in Seattle, 19/43 News reported.

Pharms, who entered a modified guilty plea last month, was sentenced to more than three years in prison.

His lawyers feared an additional charge of assault, and a possible longer sentence, if the case went to trial.

The fifth-round selection in the 2001 NFL Draft was released by the Browns before his professional football career ever even started.
