Ohio State Highway Patrolman Killed By ATV

WEST UNION, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say a State Highway Patrol trooper has been killed in an A-T-V accident in southern Ohio. The Adams County sheriff's office says 24-year-old Jonathan Seabolt apparently lost control of his A-T-V in a curve and crashed into a tree early yesterday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened in Liberty Township, west of the trooper's home in West Union.

Seabolt was a trooper with the state patrol's Georgetown post in Brown County, west of Adams County. He'd worked there for nearly two years.
