Wadsworth High School Bomb Threat

Wadsworth, OH - Late Friday after students had been released for the day, a handwritten bomb threat was found in a bathroom at Wadsworth High School.

The note alleged that a bomb had been placed in the school and would go off on monday.  A thorough and exhaustive search of Wadsworth High School was conducted by the Wadsworth Police Department, the Wadsworth City Schools Administration and the Medina County Sheriff's Department including their k-9 unit specifically trained in searching for explosives.

As a result of this search the building has been deemed safe and no threat was located.
