Horse Racing Accident Injures Two People, Horse Put To Sleep

LEBANON, Ohio (AP) - Two horse drivers were taken to the
hospital and a horse was euthanized after an accident at Lebanon

Authorities say the accident started when a horse fell Friday
night, but drivers Roy Wilson of Lebanon and Jeremy Smith of
Washington Court House were taken to the hospital after complaining
of back injuries.

Both men were treated and released. Two other drivers and their
horses were involved in the accident, but were not injured.

A spokesman for the harness racing track says the horse that
caused the accident suffered broken bones and was put down.
