17-Year-Old Restaurant Worker Killed In Automotive Accident

Cleveland, OH - A fatal accident Saturday night around 9 p.m. on the 3500 block of Warren Road has killed a male restaurant worker, 17-year-old Feras Lababidi.

Lababidi was traveling down Warren Road in his Envoy when hit by a Mitsubishi traveling in the same direction. Feras Lababidi apparently knew the two passengers in the Mitsubishi.

The Envoy then went off the side of the road, hit a wall which sent it airborn, then struck a tree before coming to a stop.

The driver of the envoy, 17-year-old Feras Lababidi from the west side of Cleveland, was taken to Fairview Hospital by EMS where he was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m.

There is no indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident, but speed was a factor.

Officials say Lababidi was coming from work in the area of W.150th and Puritas Avenue when the accident occurred.
