Former Nursing Home Aide Charged in Resident's Death

UPDATE: Bedford, OH - The death of a 84-year-old nursing home resident has been ruled a homicide.

The coroner says John Kovach died from a sudden heart attack brought by complications due to a neck fracture.

Police tell 19 Action News Kovach's aide - 37-year-old Tracey Stovall - pushed him from behind causing him to fall and hit his head on the floor at Aspen Woodside Village in February.

Stovall was arrested and charged in Kovach's murder and is due in court Wednesday morning.
