Man Accused Of Stealing From Sports Booster Club

WESTLAKE, Ohio (AP) - A volunteer for a sports booster club in
suburban Cleveland is jailed today on a charge accusing him of
stealing about 17-hundred dollars from the organization.

Police in Westlake say 55-year-old John Zolnay is charged with
one count of felony theft. He was arrested yesterday.

Westlake Demons Club officials approached police last week to
report the missing money. The theft suspect was in charge of raffle
ticket sales for the parent volunteer group, which provides money
to high school and middle school sports teams for equipment and

Police are investigating whether any additional money may be
missing from the club.
