Local Man Missing After U-Haul Flips Into River

ELKHART, Ind. (AP) - Authorities in Indiana have called off the search for the body of an Ohio man whose U-Haul truck flipped over a bridge and into a river.

Indiana State Police said that 37-year-old Kenneth Earl Pryor, of Cleveland, struck a bridge rail along Interstate 80 in northern Indiana over the weekend.

The truck rode on the bridge rail for approximately 175 feet before flipping over the bridge and into the St. Joseph River in Elkhart County.

Pryor's body was not found by dive and rescue teams, but police said they believe that he died.

The investigation resumed early Monday morning.
