Gas Pricing Error In Elyria Gets Thumbs Up

ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) - Customers at an Elyria gas station received
unexpected discounts yesterday morning.

Station employees say someone incorrectly entered the price for
high-octane gasoline, and morning motorists filled up for 29 cents
a gallon.

The intended price was two dollars and ninety cents. The problem
occurred overnight Thursday and wasn't noticed and corrected until
around noon Friday.

The gas station wasn't sure how many people filled up without
saying anything about the error, but one pump display showed a
purchase of nearly 38 gallons of gas for just under eleven dollars.
Under the regular price, that would have cost 110 dollars.
