Conjoined Twins Scheduled To Arrive In Cleveland Today

CLEVELAND (AP) - Three-year-old twin girls born connected at the
head are scheduled to arrive in Cleveland today in preparation for
separation surgery.

The girls will fly in from Dallas with their mother and
six-year-old sister on a chartered flight paid for by hospital

Surgeons at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital will separate
the girls in four stages. The separation carries risks, but doctors
say the twins can't continue to live as they are.

The World Craniofacial Foundation will pay for the family's
living expenses while they're in the Cleveland area. The
Dallas-based charity brought the twins to Texas from Europe more
than two years ago so doctors could evaluate them for surgery.
