Ohioan Killed In Tennessee Plane Crash

TAZEWELL, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities say an Ohio man was killed
Monday when the small plane he was flying crashed in northeast

Fifty-eight year old Larry Sanders was flying his Piper P-A-28
from his hometown of Wapakoneta to meet his wife in Pigeon Forge,
Tennessee when he crashed about 45 miles north of his destination.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but residents
reported hearing the small plane's engine struggling before it went
down into a wooded area.

Sanders was well known in his small hometown 75 miles northwest
of Columbus, where he was the proprietor of the Beer & Wine Depot.
Steve Henderson of Wapakoneta told the Knoxville News Sentinel
that his friend Sanders was an ambitious businessman who also was
smart, funny and fun-loving.
