Energy Saving Habits

Get into the habit of saving energy, here are some ways you can save, without it becoming a chore.

  • Unplug
    Unplug everything when you are not using it!

  • Set Computers to Sleep and Hibernate
    Set up 'Sleep Mode' so your computer uses less energy.

    Set up 'Hibernate' so after 30 minutes your computer automatically shuts down.

  • Take Control of Temperature

    Adjust your thermostat during colder months to 68 degrees or less daytime, and 55 degrees before bedtime.
  • Let the sunshine shine on through by opening those blinds and keep your lights turned off. Natural light will save big.

  • Turn Out the Lights

    Flip the switch off before you leave....double check each room.
