Lorain, OH - A homeless man was killed in an early morning fire.
The fire happened just after four a-m at 400 1/2 W.25th Street. Firefighters say another homeless man managed to escape the blaze by jumping out a window.
Firefighters arrived on scene at the vacant building that was fully engulfed in flames and say it was too dangerous for them to enter the building at that time.
The body of the homeless man, believed to be in his 50's, was found inside the building after the fire was knocked down.
No name being released yet.
33-year-old Ethan West suffered only a cut on his hand from jumping out the window.
This house has been vacant for several years and the two men had been staying there.
