Councilman Wants To Ban Bingo Tickets

CLEVELAND – If a Cleveland councilman has his way, a crackdown on bingo betting parlors would begin in the near future, 19/43 News reported.

City councilman Mike Dolan has drafted legislation to ban pull-tab instant bingo tickets.

Storefront businesses can legally sell the tickets if the proceeds benefit charities, but Dolan said that most of the businesses are not making good on the donations.

The entire Cleveland City Council will vote on the legislation, and determine the future legality of the bingo tickets.
