Cleveland, OH - Congressman Kucinich will conduct a walking tour of Slavic Village to spotlight the foreclosure problem in Cleveland on Sunday.
Slavic Village, the childhood home of Kucinich, has been greatly affected by foreclosure and the growth of predatory mortgage lending.
The walking tour will take place the day before Kucinich chairs a Congressional hearing to look at foreclosure, predatory lending, subprime loand and fair lending issues. The hearing of the Domestic Policy Subcommittee will take place at 10:30am at the Carl B. Stokes Federal Courthouse in Cleveland.
Cleveland has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the Country.
