Retirees Fighting To Stop Executive Bonuses

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Local LTV Steel retirees were in Youngstown earlier this week to try to stop huge bonuses from being given to the bankrupt company's top executives, 19/43 News reported.

Retirees are so upset that they raised signs in protest outside of the federal bankruptcy court in Youngstown.

They said that they're upset about a plan that would allow top LTV executives to receive bonus checks in spite of being in bankruptcy.

LTV workers and retirees are instead pushing a different plan -- one that would give $9 million to more than 200 key employees.
