Little Tikes Slashes 50 Jobs at Hudson Headquarters

HUDSON, Ohio (AP) - Toy maker Little Tikes is slicing 50 administrative jobs from it's headquarters in Hudson in northeast Ohio.

City officials are still working with the company's owner, M-G-A Entertainment, and its C-E-O Isaac Larian, to keep Little Tikes in Hudson.

Larian says the cuts were necessary to make the company profitable in hopes of doubling its business within the next two years.

Aside from its administrative offices, the company manufactures some of its toys in Hudson, including its new Play Smarter Kitchen. Little Tikes also has a distribution center and research and development facility there.
