Detective On Mission To Find Street Attackers

CLEVELAND – A group of attackers is still on the street after committing a crime against a senior citizen, but a local detective is now on a mission to hunt them down, 19/43 News reported.

Det. Mickey Shank has been knocking on each door in the west-side community surrounding West 60th Street handing out flyers and trying to figure out who would beat an 83-year-old man.

Shank said that masked men broke into George Boros' home, not once, but twice.

Pictures showed just how badly Boros was beaten up, which doesn't even mention the fact that the robbers took of with his retirement money.

Boros said that he appreciates the extra effort to stop the suspects from making another hit.

"I don't want this to happen to anybody else," Boros said. "Why did they have to do this to me?"

Police said that they haven't had any other attacks like the one against Boros, so they think that the robbers knew Boros or knew that he lived alone.
