CLEVELAND (AP) - Cavaliers guard Andre Miller on Tuesday was named the NBA's Eastern Conference player of the week for the second time this season after leading Cleveland to three wins last week.
Miller averaged 22.3 points, 17 assists and 7.3 rebounds in wins against Toronto, Milwaukee and Chicago. He had his third career triple-double on Feb. 12 against Toronto with 22 points, 17 assists and 10 rebounds.
Miller also received the award for the week ending Dec. 9 for leading the Cavaliers to a 2-1 record and averaging 18 points, 11.3 assists and 6.3 rebounds.
He is the first Cavalier to receive the honor twice in one season. He joins Mike Mitchell and Terrell Brandon as the team's only two-time winners of the award.
