Prisoner Indicted in 1998 Murder Case

Akron, OH - New developments in a cold murder case.

Earl Mann has been indicted in the 1998 murder of Judith Johnson.

Johnson was found murdered in her Barberton home in June of '98 - a child was also attacked during the deadly encounter.

A jury found Clarence Elkins guilty of committing Johnson's murder in 1999 but he was later released from prison when evidence proved his innocence.

Mann is currently behind bars for sexually abusing his own children - he could face the death penalty if convicted.
