NASCAR Truck Driver Aaron Fike Arrested on Drug Charges

MASON, Ohio (AP) - Police in Mason say they arrested NASCAR Truck Series driver Aaron Fike over the weekend on a heroin possession charge.

Fike drives the Number One Toyota Tundra and currently ranks eighth in points in NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series.

Police at Kings Island amusement park called Mason police Saturday after noticing suspicious activity in Fike's S-U-V. Mason police say they found drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be heroin in the vehicle.

Mike DeLoach is the owner of Fike's Red Horse Racing team. He says the team is aware of the situation and is working with NASCAR to get more information about the arrest.

Fike remains in the Warren County Jail, and his bond has not been set.

Mason police say they're still waiting for drug analysis results.
