Officials Identify Body of Missing Swimmer; No Sign of Second Man

SWIMMER IDENTIFIED: Officials have identified the body of a swimmer pulled from the choppy waters of Lake Erie as 20-year-old Dan Smith.

Smith and 19-year-old Brandon Glass went missing when they got caught in waves about four feet high in Avon Lake.

The search for Glass continues.

Two women identified as the men's girlfriends were also swimming but were able to make it back to shore.

Rough conditions made it difficult for the Coast Guard to search on the water Friday - they eventually had to dock their boats.

Helicopters were used from that point - including the 19 Action News Chopper.

Searchers still scouring the shoreline in hopes of finding any sign of Brandon Glass.
