Guilty Verdict for Mother Accused of Killing Disabled Son

UDPATE: Painesville, OH - A Lake County mother has been found guilty of killing her disabled son, then setting the house on fire.

The jury handed down the verdict for Lisa Henry late Friday afternoon.

Henry maintained she found her 25-year-old son Michael dead in his room and has no memory of what happened after that.

Prosecutors contend Lisa Henry doused her son Michael, who had cerebral palsy, with gasoline then tried to commit suicide by slitting her own wrists because she was a depressed housewife.

She testified that she would never do that.

The 48-year-old has claimed insanity on a single count of aggravated arson, but claims innocence on charges of aggravated murder, murder and child endangering.
